BIOCLEAN cleans the seawater aquarium in a natural way by combining BIODIGEST and BIOPTIM.
BIODIGEST is composed of natural nitrifying, denitrifying and facultative bacterial strains selected for their ability to transform ammonia into nitrites, nitrites into nitrates and nitrates into nitrogen. These bacteria work as a team, with each strain completing the work started by the others. Some are able to bio-synthesize denitrifying enzymes under aerobic conditions. This allows a very good purification of the water, a reduction of nitrates, phosphates as well as the prevention of the proliferation of algae.
They also fight, by probiotic effect and food competition, against the proliferation of pathogenic organisms and reduce the risk of disease.
BIOPTIM provides all the micro-elements necessary for the life of the marine aquarium (selected amino acids, enzymes, natural vitamins, a natural surfactant from plants allowing better membrane absorption of the components by the cells).
It also provides trace elements: sulfur for proteins, iron for corals and fish blood, cobalt for B vitamins, boron for the many products metabolized during cell construction, calcium, magnesium, manganese, zinc, molybdenum, potassium.
It facilitates the elimination of nitrates and phosphates, precursor elements of the appearance of algae, as well as carbohydrates and therefore allows the regulation of decomposition odors and the optimization of water quality.
