Hw-ionic, the ideal long-term filter medium for fresh and sea water aquariums:
- Reliably binds all metabolic products, such as uric acid, protein, nitrites and nitrates,
- binds the harmful substances occurring in the degradation of algae,
- binds chlorine, ozone, pesticides, herbicides and insecticides,
- removes the yellowish tinge in water,
- is pH neutral in fresh and sea water,
- is fully active from the first minute onwards and requires no starting time,
- is a combination of especially high-quality active charcoal and various ion-exchange resins.
A unique combination of special activated carbon and selected ion-exchange resins captures the harmful substances securely with a negative pressure of 100 bar and will not release them back to the aquarium water, even if the filter medium is supersaturated with harmful substances.
The dreaded, highly toxic nitrate can therefore not arise in the first place.
hw-ionic is based on a particularly high quality, fine activated carbon (more than 700 qm surface per gramme). This activated carbon is specially pretreated and washed and serves the secure bonding of pigments, pesticides, herbicides, insecticides, chlorine, ozone and other harmful substances in the aquarium water. In contrast to normal filter substrates, hw-ionic does not need any starting time and is completely active immediately, from the first minute hw-ionic stays pH-neutral in fresh and sea water.
Contents: 1000ml for about 100 liters aquarium water.
