1. Put 5 ml of aquarium water in the transparent cup and add 2 drops of PH 1 while swirling the cup.
2. Compare the colour of the water in the cup with the scale in the top of the pH Test set as follows:
   - Place the cup in the middle of the colour sheet and observe from above the colour which matches that of the liquid in the test cup.
   - The corresponding value gives the PH of the test water.
